Originally from Whidbey Island, Washington State, Chelsey embarked on her professional journey armed with a BA degree from the University of Washington, achieved in 2016. Her path from a curious graduate to the founder of a thriving copywriting agency is marked by diverse experiences that have honed her craft and sharpened her storytelling prowess.

After graduation, Chelsey's adventurous spirit took her across the globe, from teaching English as a Foreign Language in the bustling classrooms of South Korea, living a digital nomad lifestyle through Southeast Asia, Europe, as well as North and South America. These experiences not only broadened her horizons but also laid the groundwork for her first major writing project, Inspired: The Stories of Nine Solo Female Travelers. This, in turn, led to The Ninja Gypsy: A Travel Safety Blog. This initial foray into authorship or blogging, while reflecting her early writing stage, was the first step in a journey toward mastering the art of engaging and effective storytelling.

It wasn't until a 3-month digital nomad stint in South Americain, in 2019, did Chelsey begin her copywriting career. Then, during the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020, when Chelsey was trapped like many others, her dream of writing transformed into a full-on business.

Years later, Chelsey has completed thousands of writing projects for over 100 happy clients. As the head of Crystal Clear Copy, she leverages her extensive teaching, traveling, and writing experiences to provide small businesses and marketing agencies with content that resonates, engages, and converts. Her ability to transform complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives is a hallmark of her agency's success.

Through her leadership, Crystal Clear Copy has become a symbol of clarity, creativity, and impactful storytelling, catering to the diverse needs of its clients with precision and a personal touch.

Rather than gallivanting around the world, Chelsey now leads Crystal Clear Copy from her home in Florida, where she lives with her husband and their two cats. She runs her business full-time while still keeping up her Medium blog and creating activity books on Amazon for fun.

Her love for reading, traveling to new places, boating in the Emerald Coast waters, and indulging in chocolate and craft beer enriches her life and work, bringing a unique depth and relatability to her writing.
