What started in 2022 as a birthday fundraiser inspired by one rescued kitten has grown into a month-long community tradition—and this September, Crystal Clear Copy is proud to celebrate five years of creating Endless Pawsabilities for local cats in need!
The 5th Annual Endless Pawsabilities Fundraiser will benefit Save Our Cats and Kittens, Inc. (SOCKS), a local nonprofit dedicated to providing shelter, medical care, food, and second chances to cats and kittens throughout our community. Supporters can donate online throughout September or join us for our in-person Supply Drive & Raffle Event on Saturday, September 26, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at St. Michael’s Brewing Company.
This year, we are ready to make an even bigger impact with exciting raffle baskets, local business sponsors, Rescue Reads, special ways to give back, and plenty of cat-themed fun. Whether you donate, bring supplies, attend the event, or simply help us spread the word, every act of support helps create another pawsibility for a cat in need.

Last Year, You Helped Us Make the Biggest Contribution Yet
When we set our goals for 2025, we hoped to raise $3,000 in monetary donations and collect $1,000 in shelter supplies. Thanks to this incredible community, we did not simply meet those goals—we surpassed both!
By the end of the fourth annual Endless Pawsabilities Fundraiser, supporters had contributed a record-breaking $5,388 in monetary donations and approximately $1,300 in food, litter, cleaning products, and other essential supplies for SOCKS.
Behind those totals were countless individual acts of generosity. Thirty-four sponsors donated funds, raffle prizes, products, gift certificates, and services. Approximately 90 people joined us for the in-person event, while 46 online donors supported the campaign from near and far. Together, local businesses and community members contributed more than 100 raffle items, helping us create an unforgettable afternoon in support of local cats.
Those contributions brought our four-year lifetime impact to $15,265 in monetary donations and approximately $1,850 in supplies—a combined total of $17,115 for SOCKS.
Every dollar, donated item, raffle contribution, event visit, volunteer hour, and shared social media post played a part in making that possible. To our donors, sponsors, volunteers, attendees, and everyone who helped spread the word: thank you. You proved that when a community comes together one generous act at a time, we can create life-changing pawsabilities for cats in need.
Our 2026 Goals
After last year’s record-breaking support, we are setting our sights even higher for year five! Our goal is to raise $5,000 through online and in-person donations and collect $2,000 worth of food, litter, cleaning products, and other essential supplies for SOCKS.
If we reach both goals, Endless Pawsabilities will surpass $24,000 in total lifetime impact since the fundraiser began in 2022. It is an ambitious milestone, but last year showed us exactly what this community can accomplish when local businesses, donors, volunteers, and cat lovers work together.

The month-long fundraiser will culminate in our main in-person celebration: the Endless Pawsabilities Supply Drive & Raffle Event! Join us for an afternoon of prizes, games, community fun, and plenty of catitude—all while supporting the cats and kittens in SOCKS’ care.

Admission: There is no traditional admission fee. Instead, guests are encouraged to bring shelter supplies or make a monetary donation to SOCKS.
Everyone will receive a raffle ticket just for showing up, giving you a chance to win one of our special door prizes. When you make a cash donation or bring eligible supplies, you can earn additional raffle tickets for our big themed baskets, packed with gift certificates, products, experiences, and goodies donated by generous local businesses.
How to Earn Raffle Tickets?
Everyone will receive a raffle ticket just for showing up, giving you a chance to win one of our special door prizes. When you make a cash donation or bring eligible supplies, you can earn additional raffle tickets for our big themed baskets, packed with gift certificates, products, experiences, and goodies donated by generous local businesses.

What Else is Going On?
We will also have games where you can test your luck and win even more prizes. Last year’s activities included the Lemon Game and Guess the Cat Toy, and we are busy planning more playful fun for this year’s event.
I Heard About Something Called Rescue Reads?
New for 2026 is our Rescue Reads table, where you can choose a wrapped mystery book that we thrifted from the SOCKS thrift store and give a pre-loved story a new home while helping rescue cats receive the second chances they deserve. It will be 1 book for $3 or 2 books for $5!

Why SOCKS Needs Our Support
Save Our Cats and Kittens, Inc. (SOCKS) is a local nonprofit dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of cats and kittens in our community. Every day, the organization provides shelter, nutritious food, clean living spaces, medical treatment, and compassionate care to cats waiting for permanent homes.
In 2025 alone, SOCKS welcomed 727 cats and kittens into its care and celebrated 638 adoptions. With that, they also spent $125,376 on vet bills! Each of those numbers represents a life changed: a frightened cat given a safe place to rest, a sick kitten receiving medical attention, or a deserving feline meeting the family who will love them for years to come.
Providing that level of care requires significant resources. It costs an average of $46,000 each month to operate the shelter, covering both everyday necessities and unexpected medical cases. SOCKS also works beyond the shelter walls by supporting spay and neuter services and trap-neuter-return efforts that help create healthier, safer community cat populations.
Our September fundraiser arrives during an especially demanding season for shelters and rescue organizations. Donations help keep food bowls full, living spaces clean, medical care accessible, and lifesaving programs moving forward. Whether someone contributes $5, brings a container of litter, or donates enough to cover a larger need, every act of generosity helps SOCKS give another cat comfort, care, and a second chance.
Our Why: A Tailpipe Kitten, A Shared Birthday, and a Whole Lot of Love
Every fundraiser has a beginning—and ours starts with a kitten in a tailpipe.
A few years ago, my husband was at work when his team discovered a scared little kitten tucked into the tailpipe of a car. No one knew what to do… until one wise coworker said, “Take it to SOCKS—they’ll help.” So they did.
That kitten, lovingly nicknamed Soot, was taken in by the incredible team at SOCKS (Save Our Cats and Kittens). Not long after, Soot found a forever home—and unknowingly sparked a cause that would grow into what is now the Endless Pawsabilities Fundraiser.
After learning of Soot’s rescue and the amazing work SOCKS was doing, my husband and I felt called to give back. We started making monthly donations, dropping off supplies at the shelter, and sneaking in a few kitty cuddles while we were at it. It was a small way to say thank you, but it lit the spark for something much bigger.
In 2022, instead of throwing a birthday party, I turned my celebration into a cause. With no presents and no party, I launched a heartfelt, online-only fundraiser for SOCKS—and to our surprise, we raised $2,650 in just one month. What was meant to be a one-time thing turned into a yearly tradition that’s only grown since.
Now in its fifth year, the Endless Pawsabilities Fundraiser encompasses not only online donations but also an in-person event, raffle prizes, community sponsors, and more.
Plus... if you're wondering why we have so many pictures of cats on our business—well, that’s thanks to Crystal, a shelter cat we adopted who I share a birthday with on September 28th. We later adopted Valkyrie, our little SOCKS sweetheart, during the making of our first fundraiser. Lastly, we adopted Yami, who rounds out our little rescue family.
So yes—this fundraiser is about cats, but it’s also about second chances, community, and the pawsitive things that happen when one act of kindness turns into many.

At the heart of the Endless Pawsabilities Fundraiser is a simple truth: when kind people come together, big things happen. What started with one rescued kitten in a tailpipe has grown into a multi-year movement that’s helped keep shelter shelves stocked, medical bills covered, and countless cats cared for and adopted into loving homes.
This year, with your help, we’ll hopefully cross the $24,000 lifetime milestone—and we’ll do it the way we always have: one dollar, one can of cat food, and one generous act at a time.
